Day 6: Snowflake Splendor DSP with Non-Traditional Christmas Colors
Select Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper (printed paper) is on sale through October 31, 2020!
Stampin' Up! got this one JUST RIGHT! I like red and green for Christmas, but I would rather decorate in blues, silvers, purples, glitter, sparkles, . . . you get it! This Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper has me so excited about creating Christmas cards. The Snowflake Splendor Suite and all of the yummy product it includes, made this card possible! This card is perfect for thanking the people who help make your Christmas or holiday season special. Maybe someone gave you a fabulous gift or made your Christmas super special or possibly they hosted the dinner and Christmas at their cabin in the mountains! (my kind of friend) This is the perfect card to thank them for their heartfelt gift.
I have posted a TUTORIAL below on how you too can make this beautiful card!
TUTORIAL FOR CARD ABOVE
The base of the card is Balmy Blue card stock and measures 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" - scored at 4 1/2"
Second Layer is Purple Posy card stock and measures 5 1/4" x 4"
The layer of Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper measures 5" x 3/34" and has been embossed with the Evergreen Forest 3-D embossing Folder.
The snowflakes were made with the So Many Snowflakes Dies (see listed below).
The bottom snowflake is die cut from SU's silver foil, the next snowflake up is die cut from SU's balmy blue glimmer paper, and the top snowflake is die cut from purple posy card stock and I added a touch of Wink of Stella for some shimmer!
The sentiment (isn't is cute) is from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set and is stamped on whisper white card stock in highland heather ink and die cut using tasteful labels die cuts.
I used SU's blue gems and Snowflake Splendor ribbon (it shimmers in all of the right colors).
Please note that you can and should use your imagination and also the product you have to create your own beautiful cards.
