SNOWFLAKE WISHES MINI PAPER PUMPKIN BOX
WITH NOTE CARDS
The mini Paper Pumpkin boxes are amazing! You can put candies, gifts, notes, a letter, just about anything you want in them! They come in a package of 10 and are easy to put together. I wanted to do non-traditional colors for my Christmas in July project. This beautiful stamp set and die cut are a returning fave from last year. I remembered that the DSP that came with it was in all of the colors I used. Balmy Blue, Highland Heather. . . but this year I added a new In-Color! Fresh Freesia! Isn't it beautiful?!
The note cards were so much fun to make. The small snowflake background stamp is so easy to use. Picking a snowflake for each card was fun too! Not one of them are alike, just like real snowflakes! Wouldn't you love to receive one of these thank you cards from someone? How about receiving the whole box with all 6 of the notes cards for you to send out to others?
Someone has already bought this set! On to making more!
The note cards fit so nicely in the mini paper pumpkin box, each with an envelope. I had so much fun making this project. I think I may be in the spirit to create more Christmas projects and cards! Merry July everyone!!!!!!
MINI TUTORIAL
I used Snowflake Wishes and Many Snowflakes dies to create this mini Paper Pumpkin box and the 6 "Thank You Snow Much"note cards for inside. The list of supplies I used for the mini Paper Pumpkin Box and the notes cards are listed at the end.
I wrapped the mini paper pumpkin box in Balmy Blue card stock. I made a template with my sentiment stamped on it so that I could judge where I should place the stamp so when I put the die cut top on the box the sentiment would be visible. This worked really well. The sentiment is stamped in Basic Gray. The top of the box was made from a die in the So Many Snowflakes dies.
Then I started working on the snowflakes.
I used Whisper White, Highland Heather, Balmy Blue, and Fresh Freesia card stock and to make the snowflakes sparkle I also used the new Fresh Freesia In-Color Shimmer Vellum! I love this glittery addition.
The So Many Snowflakes die set has so many different snowflakes you can cut out. It made it very easy!
I used dimensional in between the layers of snowflakes to make them pop up off the box. Decorate your mini Paper Pumpkin box, decorate your Stampin' Up! note cards and envelopes and wallah!
I used the same colors of card stock and added my extra snowflakes for the note cards. And who would have guessed the Blue Gems would match perfectly and add that special something to top it all off!
